Introduction to Life Building
Life Building, Inc. is a non-profit organization located on a 4-acre farm in Northaven,
Life Building, Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 organization located on a 4-acre farm within a crime ridden, poverty stricken, food desert neighborhood of Northaven, which is just north of Memphis, TN. With only one gas station and zero grocery stores in the area, many haven’t had the opportunity to see a fresh vegetable, much less taste one. This creates a mission of Life Building, Inc. to provide educational programs to over 9,000 citizens on agriculture, horticulture, soil conservation, water irrigation/conservation and husbandry.

Our Mission
Life Building, Inc. strives to empower Northaven residents by providing essential agricultural education, promoting self-sufficiency, and building healthier lifestyles in an area deeply impacted by poverty and food insecurity.
Our Impact
Since its inception, Life Building Inc. has positively impacted over 500 Northaven residents through our initiatives. We’ve successfully grown and distributed over 10,000 pounds of fresh, organic produce, providing healthier food options to the community. Additionally, we’ve completed 15 educational programs, including hands-on workshops and sustainability training, empowering residents with the skills and knowledge to build a greener, more self-sufficient future.
